Creating common ground when we have less in common
Part 1 of the series: Nordic CityMaking @ Oslo Architecture Triennale: Cities for All of Us? – Inclusivity, Diversity and Nordic Values
KEY ISSUES OF THE TALK:
How to create common ground when we have less in common
• Does the increase of diversity lead to more polarisation – or can we find another way?
• What do we talk about when we talk about “problem areas” in our cities? Is the real problem our perception of these areas, and what can we do to change it?
• Planning and designing are about finding what to improve. How could we learn to value “what already is”?
Date of the event: Oslo Architecture Triennale 22 Sep – 30 Oct 2022
