Sustainable Strategies in Architecture: from Scandinavia to the US

The upcoming Nordic Talks panel organized by the National Nordic Museum (NNM) at the Nordic Innovation Summit (NIS '23) will address several key issues related to sustainable urban development. These include the pressing social and environmental challenges faced by urban communities worldwide, the importance of adopting a place-based approach to development, and the unique challenges encountered by urban communities of different sizes and shapes.

This panel will provide a unique perspective on how architecture can contribute to sustainable urban development - a conversation particularly important now as the world faces unprecedented challenges related to climate change, social inequality, and urbanization.
