Migration and mobility – living next door to the Nordics

This Nordic Talks event is under the series of Nordic Sustainable Economy and it aims to give an insight on the main reasons for migration and mobility across the borders. More closely, how has mobility across Nordic-Baltic borders developed during the last 2 decades, what are the main challenges and why is it useful and financially beneficial to support cross-border labour mobility? We will also dive into the various migration policies and their influence on cross-border mobility. The event will be held in form of a conversation between researchers Professor Raul Eamets and Professor Tiit Tammaru - University of Tartu, and Saara Pellander, Director of the Migration Institute of Finland.
