Art’s Relationship to Cultural Progression

Throughout history, art has told us a story about the development of culture. Cultural progression aligns with the progression of art and we see a constant state of influence as art affects culture and culture affects art. We want to explore how art is reflected in our everyday lives - through history and presence - in the Nordics and in South Africa. 
We ask the ultimate question, whether it's possible for art to deliberately create cultural change - and if so, what kinds of innovation can art inspire to create?
