Nordic Cookbook - Reko Mission

The Nordic Cookbook for Systems Change

Increasing agricultural productivity is closely linked to reducing rural poverty and hunger. Yet, food continues to be lost and wasted. There is an urgent need for governments to include food waste in national climate strategies. That means that governments, but also private companies, need to invest in training, technology, and innovation. This Nordic Talks online event will discuss the many creative and innovative ways we can tackle food loss and waste. More closely, we will reflect on how using the Nordic “Cookbook for Systems Change” as a strategic tool for a REKO mission project in the Baltics can support smallholder farms, reduce food waste and develop a more sustainable food consumption pattern in the Baltic countries.
